Early Friday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the 800 block of South Missouri Avenue in regards to a call of a subject attempting to leap off the roof.

Upon arrival, Officers met with two subjects.

The male advised the female had been attempting to harm him and damage property. Officers were able to view video that had been taken during the incident, with the suspect chasing the male up the stairs with a knife, following him and cornering him.

The suspect swung the knife (on the video) around in a space less than five feet apart, and began to stab objects around her. In the video, the suspect stabbed the bed several times, and then started stabbing the wall. The suspect grabbed a metal pipe and threw it at the male, hitting him in the leg.

The male told Officers he had undergone surgery not that long ago on his leg, and the suspect knew that, still throwing the pipe. The suspect dropped the knife, and the male grabbed her and held her, trying to calm her down. She then started to throw phones and random items down the stairs and around the house.
