On Saturday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the 1100 block of South Massachusetts for a burglary report.

When Police arrived, a female was leaving and getting into a vehicle.

Officers made contact with the female and the reporting party. It was determined the female had entered the reporting parties residence without permission and used force to gain entry.

After placing the female under arrest, Officers located a controlled substance in the female's belongings.

Anesha Nicole Sims, 30, of Sedalia, was then taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending charges of 2nd Degree Burglary, 2nd Degree Property Damage, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
