If you make your way over to the Katy Depot now, you see a vibrant, historical mecca of information.  But it wasn't always that way. I remember in the nineties doing a small amateur sketch with some friends in front of the Katy Depot. I remember it being all boarded up, the concrete was in disrepair, etc.  It can be easy to forget how far it's come.  But I found a little reminder on YouTube, from 1992. I was in sixth grade, I think.

You can watch the video here.

It's a little random, and there's a guy about 8 minutes in who I think is named Ed who goes over what will need to be done to restore the Depot.  It's obviously a home video and they were just having fun.  But it really makes me appreciate all the hard work and coordination it took to bring the Katy Depot back and even better.

Do you remember the Depot through the years?

VHS-ingly yours,

Behka
