See The Grand Ole Opry With the Warrensburg Chamber

Membership in the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce has its perks. Like heading to Nashville for a four-day adventure that includes seeing the Grand Ole Opry, experiencing a backstage tour of the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry, site seeing around Nashville, and dinner at Paula Dean's Famous Country style restaurant. All for around $2,200 or less.

Sure, you could hop in your car or your SUV and head to Nashville. And sometimes a great road trip adventure that you make up as you go along can be fun. But sometimes, it's nice not to have to worry about these things. And that's what I think makes this trip put together by Curtain Up Theatre Tours pretty cool. Not having to worry about where you're going to stay. Or what sites you should see. Or what you're missing out on.

Dr. Richard Herman, Professor Emeritus of Theatre at the University of Central Missouri will be guiding a great tour around Nashville over the course of your trip. Which in addition to the things I already mentioned also includes tours of the Johnny Cash Museum, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Breakfast at the famous Loveless Cafe. And an opportunity to check out Nashville's nightlife including Tootsies Orchid Lounge, Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row, Jason Aldean's Kitchen and Rooftop Bar, and More.

The trip includes round-trip charter bus transportation between Warrensburg and Nashville and three nights of lodging at the four-star Cambria Hotel in Downtown Nashville. And is scheduled for the dates of Tuesday, October 18, 2022 -Friday, October 21, 2022.

Chamber members can go on this trip for as little as $1,420.00 a person based on four to a room with two double beds, to $2200.00 a person for one person who'd like to have their own room. There are other price points as well if you have three people who'd like to room together, or two folks going together. Non-Warrensburg Chamber members are also eligible to go on the trip for a $100 fee added to the price. Those traveling with the chamber need to turn in a $200 deposit by July 1, 2022.

For me, this sounds like a great way to experience Nashville for the first time if you've never been. And it doesn't seem like a very expensive trip either. Obviously, you'll need to have some pocket cash above and beyond what you spend on the trip. But it certainly seems like a way to experience The Music City without missing anything.
