Sacred Heart varsity volleyball played some of their best volleyball on Saturday, Oct. 9.

"The outcome was not exactly what the Gremlins had hoped for, but they played their hearts out," said head coach Marlo Siron.

Sacred Heart beat Cole Camp in semifinals, 25-23 and 26-24, and advanced to the Championship game of the Kaysinger Conference.

In the championship game, Sacred Heart faced Stover for the second time this season. SH won the first set 27-25, lost the second set in a disappointing 22-25 and then fell short in the third game 24-26.

Next up, the Gremlins are on the road Tuesday at Cole Camp, and Wednesday at Fr. Tolton, and play a home match on Thursday vs La Monte.
