Sorry, Everyone Else – My Dad is the Best Dad Ever

Yes, I know:  it's a pretty hot issue, and we're all divided on it.  But I'm sorry to have to tell you this - my dad rules and is far more awesome than yours. I'm just kidding!  I'm sure your padre is great, too.  But today is my dad's birthday and so I have to crow to the hills about how awesome he is. He's always been there for us and he's an outstanding person.  I'll be happy to explain to you why my dad is the best.

First of all, check out his incredible beard:

And, he's fashion forward! He rocks overalls like nobody's business.

I understand, it's okay to be jealous. But he's not all about the looks.  He's also a very creative guy - he's definitely a person who can make it work and find solutions.

Head's cold?  Got a snuggie?  BAM.  Solution.

He's a movie buff, he loves cars, he's great at trivia, he's got southern born charm, he's a hard worker, he used to play in a band, and he's got a green thumb.

And if that weren't enough, he's a certified baby whisperer.

Got a crying baby?  He'll shut that situation down.  You're gonna have a happy, giggling baby in SECONDS.  That's Paternal Instinct at it's finest.  And,  he's good with adults, too. He'll have you laughing in just about that twenty seconds,  because he's hilarious.

DO YOU NEED A FUNNY FACE?  GOT IT.  Are you starting to get what I'm throwing down, here?  He's awesome.  My dad is funny, kind, humble, smart, caring, generous to a fault, interesting, cuddly, and just the best dad/grandfather/father in law you could ask for.  After all, he raised me and managed not to go insane.

And you KNOW that was no small feat. So, Happy Birthday, Dad. I know you're not big on celebrating, and you're not going to be too thrilled with me bragging on you, but I hope that you have an excellent birthday and know that you're well loved by many friends and all of us family.
