A Stover man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2001 Ford F-150, driven by 20-year-old Trever D. McCollom of Stover, was on Missouri 135 at Cottonwood at 11:46 a.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, traveled off the left side, struck a fence and overturned twice.

McCollom suffered serious injuries, and was flown by MU Care to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Ford was totaled.
