Welcome to the new Awesome 92.3 Sedalia's Greatest Hits!

I seem to have a problem.

When I first started here at the radio station, I was working part time on weekends.  I was still in college, and wasn't sure where I wanted to go or what exactly I wanted to do.  I knew I wanted to do something in the broadcasting world, but I wasn't sure what.

We have been bringing back some of the voices of Sedalia radio's past in the last week. We have caught up with Tina Sapp, The Treecerman and now we catch up with Bruce, who was the morning show host for KIX 105 and 92.3 Bob-FM from September 2006 until April of 2013.

Starting Monday morning I will be your new morning show host on 92.3 BOB-FM. I have been on your radio during your afternoon drive for the last three years, with a little less sleep and a lot more coffee, I will now be getting you to work from 6 to 10 A.M.

Walking with Dinosaurs the Arena Spectacular is coming to the sprint center November 7-9 and we have tickets!

So if you're reading this, chances are that you're wondering "Who the heck is this guy and where did he come from?!?!" Well, I'm Rob Edwards, the new guy! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

Saturday night's storms caused some damage to our satellite and satellite receivers that we use to provide our news/talk programming on the weekend. Our engineers have been working to fix the satellite and receiver.  In the meantime, we are simulcasting 92.3 BOB-FM on Newstalk 1050 KSIS.

Some of the folks around the station got together with Denny Perkins last night (June 6) to celebrate his last day on the air on 92.3 BOB-FM.  Kevin Walker was on the scene at Fitter's in downtown Sedalia to capture the shenanigans on camera.  Check out the the great beer mug we got for Denny!

In the late summer of 1986, my phone rang, and a voice on the other in said, "Hi Denny, my name is Herb Brandes, and I want you to come to work for my radio station."  And so began my 27-year love affair with Sedalia.
