The long wait for new Rick and Morty is especially fraught this year, as conservative estimates place Season 4 in late 2019 (at best). Now, creators confirm Adult Swim has not yet renewed the series, and contract negotiations with parent company Turner are to blame.

We’re going to be pretty desperate for new Rick and Morty until at least late 2019, so Adult Swim has thankfully provided some relief. Our favorite cosmic adventurers do their best Men in Black for a new Adult Swim music video from Run the Jewels.

Okay, so this one is a little weird

Few in the galaxy know when Rick and Morty Season 4 might happen, but co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland are at least serving up seconds from a fan-favorite. See what became of Mr. Poopybutthole with an extended clip of the character’s new life.

If you thought fighting over Szechuan sauce was peak Rick and Morty saturation, ooooo-whee. The acclaimed and increasingly-controversial Adult Swim animated series has gone even more adult, earning its very own porn parody. Be warned – there’s squanching.

Rick and Morty caused enough chaos inspiring fans to pursue lost McDonald’s sauce; let alone the restaurant itself trying to keep pace. Now, after weekend return shortages, McDonald’s promises the Szechuan dipping sauce is coming back full-time this winter.

We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to Rick and Morty Season 3, especially after only ten episodes and multiple prior delays. However long Rick and Morty Season 4 might take, there’s at least good news – co-creator Dan Harmon is aiming for an expanded episode order.

If it weren’t weird enough watching Rick and Morty inch into reality on our McDonald’s menu, the Billboard chart is certainly a head-turner. The fan-favorite Adult Swim series reached its next bizarre milestone, landing “Terryfold” on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart.

Even as Rick and Morty Season 3 draws to a close, we’re still hung up on the insane “Pickle Rick” episode that dominated marketing. There’s good reason the episode proved so memorable too, as co-creator Dan Harmon cites a famous Breaking Bad episode as inspiration.

Regardless of your feeling on Sunday’s Game of Thrones finale, Rick and Morty kept the fire burning with an Adult Swim jab at the show’s writing. Bosses have since come forth to distance themselves from the network bumper, and co-creator Dan Harmon now claims the bit was “tragically tacky.”
