Two people are dead and 23 injured after a car reportedly smashed through a crowd of people outside a music venue at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas early this morning.

The way Josh Homme sees it, if things go well on Queens of the Stone Age's upcoming co-headlining tour of Australia with Nine Inch Nails, the concept could be expanded to a sort of touring festival that's inspired by the curatorial aspects of Trent Reznor's Beats Audio streaming music service.

Next year's Download Festival has added its final headlining act. And the announcement should leave rock lovers feeling some sweet emotion.

This week, Concordia is hosting their Concordia Fall Festival and welcoming the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall to the Concordia baseball fields on the south side of Concordia, just off Highway 23.
