I'm going to continue my series on the Roots and Blues Festival in Columbia.  The festival is almost here with the shows starting on Friday, September 21.   So, in my opinion I have saved the best for last.  I have had a a great summer of live music, been a lot of places and seen a lot of great acts, including blues, rock and country.  Having said all of that, what I haven't seen is anyone better

We're just a few short weeks away from the Roots N Blues Festival in Columbia.  Like I told you last week, I am going to write a few articles on some of the stars appearing there this year.  One of the artists that intrigues me the most is John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. One of my favorite blues festivals will be held this Saturday (June 30): the Bear Creek Blues Festival in Slater, Missouri. This year's show is even more special because it's an "all divas" show.
