Golf Tournament

The sold-out tournament featured 54 teams, games and cash prizes, raising more than $34,000 for Boys & Girls Club programs.

The tournament is set for June 12 at the Sedalia Country Club and will raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri.

The tournament had 72 teams entered to help raise money for scholarships

Sixteen teams raised nearly $9,400 for the Boys & Girls Club.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri held its annual Putting “Fore” The Kids golf tournament Monday, raising nearly $14,000 for Club operations.

The 16th annual Chicks with Sticks 2 lady scramble will be on September 6 at the Elm Hills Golf Course starting at 8:00 a.m.

The Katy Trail Community Health Center is a great place that helps a lot of people here in our area. They offer health care to those of us who may be less fortunate and can't afford big doctor bills, and with health costs these days, I think all of us can empathize with that. Well, the KTCH has a great program called the Partners on a Path For Good Health.

As you probably know by now, the Boys and Girls Club is pretty heavily involved in what's going on here in Sedalia. They had a huge summer with all sorts of great projects, and the upcoming school year looks just as exciting!

The 13th Annual DARE Golf Tournament took place at Elm Hills Golf Course in Sedalia on Tuesday, July 9. Thirteen teams braved the high temperatures to help ensure that kids in school would get the text books and supplies that are related to the DARE program in Sedalia schools.
