It's a short sprint to the post season for Major League Baseball as the league announced it's adjusted COVID-19 schedules for the season.

The second presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney got started just after 9 o'clock from the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. The town-hall-style debate, with an audience of uncommitted voters selected by Gallup, was moderated by CNN's Candy Crowley...

Well, the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival gets started today, with the headliner being Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros taking the main stage around 10 p.m.  Saturday is the big day, and the shows start around noon.  I'm looking forward to seeing the new King of the Roots Band and of course the man, the myth, the legend: The Reverend Al Green.

I'm going to continue my series on the Roots and Blues Festival in Columbia.  The festival is almost here with the shows starting on Friday, September 21.   So, in my opinion I have saved the best for last.  I have had a a great summer of live music, been a lot of places and seen a lot of great acts, including blues, rock and country.  Having said all of that, what I haven't seen is anyone better
