About 200 Smith-Cotton High School cadets were treated to a ride in a Blackhawk helicopter Thursday morning as a reward for all their hard work over the past school year.

On Saturday (Nov. 2), the Smith-Cotton JROTC Raider Team competed in Molena, Georgia for the National Championship title. The Raider Team has had a good season this year with many adversities and accomplishments. The Raider Team has worked all season for the moment when they could rise above their competitors and once again earn the title of Raider National Champions.
