At noon, on a windy Friday (Nov. 8), a group of Sedalians, dignitaries and Smith-Cotton High School students gathered around the northwest corner of the future site of the new stadium.
While most Sedalia School Board Meetings are informative, every once in awhile, something wonderful happens at a meeting that reminds us just how much more than the ABCs are being taught to Sedalia students today.
Sharee Norfleet, Superintendent of the Pettis County R-V School District, sent a letter to parents regarding the safety of the students Monday afternoon (Dec. 17). The exact text from that letter is as follows:
