Prepare to have joy-joy feelings looking at this incredible pop-up restaurant, painstakingly recreated from the 1993 action classic starring Sylvester Stallone.
It’s all happening: Creed 2 — officially titled Creed II because roman numerals are serious business — has begun production with Sylvester Stallone, Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson reprising their roles from Ryan Coogler’s hit sequel. Although Coogler, who recently wowed audiences and shook the MCU with Black Panther, won’t be returning to helm Creed II, he remains on board as executive producer — and had a hand in selecting the new director.
Allegations of sexual misconduct and assault continue to mount against Hollywood men and politicians in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal. Following this morning’s allegations against Senator Al Franken, another prominent and beloved figure has been accused of sexual assault: Sylvester Stallone. According to a recently unearthed police report, the iconic action star and his bodyguard allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl in the 1980s.
Long before they were Expendable co-stars and friends, legend has it Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were embroiled in a feud. The two totally ripped action icons weren’t always so tight: In a story destined to become a Ryan Murphy TV show, Arnie and Sly were pretty competitive back in the day — so much so that Schwarzenegger was rumored to have tricked Stallone into starring in one of the dumbest movies of his career. According to Schwarzenegger, it’s not a rumor.
Despite the fact that Creed 2 remains very early in the pre-production process, Sylvester Stallone hasn’t shied away from providing fans with regular updates on his screenwriting process. That’s included photos of his handwritten Creed 2 script as well as a promise that his character would face off against Dolph Lundgren’s Ivan Drago in the much-anticipated sequel. And while star and studio have avoided giving us a firm timeline for the sequel’s release — I mean, other than a rumored 2017 release date that they, uh, are clearly going to miss — it sounds like Stallone is making a lot of progress on he film.
