Following the shocking and exceedingly bloody 'Hannibal' season 2 finale, we've all got plenty of questions about where the show is heading in season 3. And now that NBC has officially given showrunner Bryan Fuller and his team the go-ahead for a third season, details are beginning to emerge about where the show will be headed next year.

The other night I found myself up late watching television re-runs. Nothing like a bowl of ice cream at 2 a.m., watching old television shows on your local TV station. I was able to catch an episode of Seinfeld, and The Simpsons followed afterwards. While my miserable life happened to be real, I found myself wishing I was one of these characters at there favorite hangout spot.

It's World Series time! Our St. Louis Cardinals take on the Boston Red Sox for what should be a great series to see who is the best team in baseball. Even for casual fans, the World Series is a big event. It's important you're in an optimal viewing area.

So we all know technology changes constantly. What might have been a commonly used every day item could be gone in a second (pagers, anyone?). Telephone landlines are on a steep decline with the rise of cell phones, and I think TV could be headed in that direction as well.

There are many things that I love about summer: baseball, barbeque, swimming and a few other things. However, one thing that annoys me is television. It used to be that summer television was a time to watch shows in rerun state and catch up with shows that maybe you missed an episode or two...

Doug and I were talking about reruns, retreads, you know, the same ol' crap on television. I admit it, I am a television junkie, and one of the greatest inventions ever is the DVR.  I enjoy spending a Saturday getting caught up on shows I missed all week.

I've been covering the Fair since about 1927...OK, not really, but for a long long time.  One of the best things about covering the fair is the people you meet and become friends with that you see year after year.  Now with social media, it's easy to keep track of and keep in contact, but it used to be you'd just see them at fair time.  Steve Barry is one of those guys.
