Thunderstorms

Stay informed about potential thunderstorms in the next 48 hours, with damaging winds and large hail expected in Missouri and Kansas.

There are two things you need to know. First of all, this is not an April Fool's joke. Second, this is also not an official forecast - yet. But, there an experimental model from the forecasters does show a strong possibility that Missouri could see dangerous storm development on Monday, April 1.

We could be approaching one of the strangest weather weeks in recent memory in Missouri as multiple systems could bring everything from tornadoes to snowfall or perhaps even both between now and the end of March.

It would be a good idea to keep an eye on the skies over Missouri and Illinois midweek as there's a good chance that we'll see big storms with damaging winds develop that might bring with it helpful rain, too.

The National Weather Service says we can expect showers and thunderstorms tonight and overnight. Then more of the same tomorrow.
