There's no shortage of area trick or treat type activities happening today and tomorrow. Additionally, there's a variety of Halloween movies playing at our local theaters.
Now hold on, I know what you're thinking. "Behka, are you insane? I don't want to get any tricks this Halloween!" Well, hold your horses there, bucko.
I just got some unfortunate news regarding the Sedalia Halloween this year. I'm sure it won't be the end of Halloween as we know it, but it will certainly be something that will disappoint parents out there in our area. The Smith-Cotton DECA Trunk-or-Treat will not be happening.
I was talking about this on the air this morning and there was so much response that I decided to post it here too. My friend's young son called her "the B-word," so she said he couldn't go trick-or-treating for Halloween. Is that too harsh? Should she let him go? Or should she be consistent and make her threats of punishment have merit?
