Jennifer Templeton was named the Central Bank of Sedalia Unsung Hero for the month of June.

According to the nomination that was received for Jennifer, "Often helps the homeless community here. Organized and donated period packs to local schools. Used her business to fund raise for school supplies for Sedalia 200 and autism sensory packs for local fire,ambulance, and pd. She's just all around a kind soul that want's to help her local community." The nomination went on to say she was just an all around kind soul helping her local community.

We spoke with Jennifer and asked her to tell us a little bit about herself and her family.

"She is married to Adam Templeton. Together they own Stay True Tattoo. They've owned that business for ten years and in August it will be their 11th. They have been married for 14 yrs and they have four children, with ages ranging from one to 13. She said that everything that she does with business is behind the scenes at home."

Jennifer included "Her four kids are very much involved. She uses community support through the social media platform. She says she sees things that need support and shares those needs and concerns with other to help her with the efforts."

Jennifer went on to say, "She thought it was amazing whoever nominated her for this award. She said she does this from the kindness of her heart because it's what gives her happiness. seeing a need and fulfilling it."
