Have you ever had one of those days? I'll set the scene for you.  It's a normal day.  Nothing in particular is wrong.  I had a good night's sleep, decent dinner the night before.  I'm not in any pain or discomfort to write home about.  But... it was just like every little thing annoyed me for some reason.

There's no explanation behind it, really. I'm avoiding all contact with my co-workers as much as I can.  I don't want to take anything out on them.  But I can feel the look on my face. It's.... cranky face.  My default is frown.  But why? Nothing is wrong.  Or maybe everything is wrong, and the world sucks and it's taking it out on me because I'm due.

Annoyances included: feeling my hair on the back of my collar, our website not loading fast enough, a song having no audio again on my log, ice melting too quickly in my water, the engineer calling me "Goddess" again, Facebook didn't take my post, my office is too cold, my facial skin is too dry, not having enough music stories to schedule on the website, my computer taking forever to open a simple file, ads on YouTube, my nail polish chipping even though I just applied it yesterday, and my right shoelace has come untied at least three times.

EUGH.  These annoyances are even annoying because they're so petty. Small things that are just driving me nuts on a cranky day.  And nothing really stopped it.  I took a little break and thought, let's look at some silly pictures.  That'll help. Internet, come through for a lady today.

That's pretty silly, but no, that didn't help.  Still annoyed. I tried listening to some music, listening to our station.  But then the "Pina Colada" song came on and I got instantly annoyed by that as well, because it's a song about two terrible people trying to cheat on each other.  Annoyed. Puppy videos? Maybe.  Nope, Ads.  Annoyed.  Maybe a snack? Sure, snacks help, right?  NOPE. THESE ALMONDS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY.

All of my go to "cheer ups" were not working on this incredibly cranky day.  What do you do when you have a cranky day for no reason?  Is there something you do to try to get out of your bad mood?

Crankily yours,
Behka
