Time to take a trip back in time and re-live a special moment during the Presidency of George W. Bush.

In 2008, President George W. Bush showed quick reflexes when he dodged a pair of shoes thrown at him by an Iraqi journalist during a news broadcast in Baghdad.

An Iraqi journalist caught everyone off-guard when he hurled his shoes at visiting U.S. President George W. Bush. The journalist "detested America" and according to colleagues, had been plotting such an attack for months. Muntazer al-Zaidi, 28, was  hailed as a hero by some after his action against the US president. Bush laughed off the incident.

The press conference was in Baghdad with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. President Bush got a reminder of the emotional opposition to his policies when the journalist threw two shoes at his head.

Of course with his quick wit, President Bush was able to make light of the incident.

The Iraqi journalist was from the Al-Baghdadia television network.
