A Sedalia woman and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday morning in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2014 Ford Escape, driven by 23-year-old Tyler C. Woods of Lee's Summit, was on US 50, east of Missouri 135 just after 7 a.m., when he crossed the center line and hit an eastbound 2004 Dodge Stratus, driven by 60-year-old Anna C. Buchanan of Sedalia.

Both vehicles traveled off the roadway on the south side.

Buchanan suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Woods had moderate injuries, while his passenger, 22-year-old Phillip L. Baehr of Kansas City, suffered serious injuries. Both were transported to Bothwell.

All three were wearing their seat belt.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
