Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2010 Accura, driven by 39-year-old Amanda S. Jack of Green Ridge, was on Bagby Road while a southbound 2012 Mazda driven by 28-year-old Jonathan D. Pruett of Sedalia was on Camp Branch Road at 5:08 p.m., when Jack failed to stop at a stop sign, causing the Accura to strike the Mazda.

Injured were Amanda Jack and 26-year-old Kayla M. Pruett, as well as a nine-year-old female in the Mazda. All had minor injuries and were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD for treatment.

Jonathan Pruett and Kayla Pruett were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Both vehicles had moderate damage and were towed from the scene.
