Tipton Edges Lincoln, 1-0, In Class 2 Sectional Action

The Tipton Cardinals edged the Lincoln Cardinals 1-0 in their Class 2 Sectional baseball game on Tuesday evening in Lincoln.

Lincoln concludes their season with a 17-11 record and an additional baseball district title added to the school's trophy case.

Tipton will now play the Maysville Wolverines in the quarterfinal round of the state baseball tournament. The game will be in Tipton and start at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
