Two Concordia residents were injured in a two-car collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2005 Toyota Sienna, driven by 55-year-old Jon M. Church of Sedalia, was turning at Highway 23 and Highway E, around 3 p.m., and was struck by a northbound 1996 Nissan Maxima, driven by 56-year-old Michelle M. Daniels of Concordia.

Daniels suffered moderate injuries, while her 15-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.

The Toyota had extensive damage, while the Nissan was totaled.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
