Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday afternoon in Morgan County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Chad M. Peeler of Gravois Mills, was the driver of a southbound 2012 Chevy Silverado on Route W, about 1,000 feet south of the Marvin Cutoff, when at 3:19 p.m., the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck two signs and overturned.

Peeler and his passenger, 20-year-old Shae L. Willis of Calhoun, both suffered moderate injuries, and were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

The Silverado was totaled.
