Union Pacific Railroad To Improve Crossings at Grand, Missouri

Union Pacific Railroad notified the City of Sedalia that beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, and continuing through 5 p.m., Union Pacific will be making improvements to the rail crossings at the street intersections at North Grand Avenue and North Missouri Avenue, according to a press release from the City.

Trucks routinely using these routes will need to detour to North Ohio Avenue in order to directly access US 65 Highway northbound.

Other travelers are also advised to plan alternate routes as the roadways will be closed to all through traffic during the planned construction period.
