World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, Missouri is the home of Murphy the Eagle. A few weeks ago, we shared the story of how Murphy had become the protector of a rock he thought was a baby. Come to find out, the sanctuary took over care of an orphaned eaglet that needed a father figure. Enter the rock dad, Murphy.

Murphy has accepted his new dad role like a champ and is letting everyone know that he will not let anything happen to this young eaglet. Listen to this eagle alert the world in a way only a proud eagle dad can.

Murphy and his new child had a close call when recent tornadoes that went through the St. Louis area over the weekend came close to the sanctuary, but all birds survived and are doing fine including Murphy and the one one.
