WAFB Man Injured at DD & 23
A Whiteman AFB man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2021 Subaru Forester, driven by 30-year-old Brittney L. Schneider of Warrensburg, was stopped at the intersection of Route DD and Missouri 23 around 7:15 a.m., when an eastbound 2007 Mazda 6, driven by 29-year-old Spencer Q. Valde of Whiteman Air Force Base, struck the rear of the Subaru.
Valde suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Western Missouri Medical Center.
The Subaru had minor damage.
