Warrensburg Parks and Rec is celebrating 25 years of fun at the Warrensburg Community Center, as well as the re-opening of the indoor pool on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

The event will be marked by a ribbon-cutting celebration in the lobby of the community center at 4:30 PM CST. There will be refreshments, music, food trucks, and even giveaways at the celebration.

Additionally, the indoor pool at Warrensburg's Community Center will be re-opening Thursday at 5:00 PM CST. The indoor pool has been closed for repair and remodeling since ductwork fell into the pool area last spring.

Entry to the indoor pool will be free, and the pool will be on Thursday, January 5, from 5:00 PM CST - 8:00 PM CST. There will also be free admission to the pool all weekend, Friday - Sunday, January 6- 8. Hours are as follows:

Friday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST

Saturday 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Sunday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The Warrensburg Community Center features an indoor walking track. An award-winning fitness center. An indoor aquatic center with lap pool, spas, and splash pool with slide. As well as a senior center with activities. Other facilities include an aerobic room for exercise classes, a child care room, and seven reservable rooms. The walking track and the gym are free to the public after checking in at the front desk.
