Warrensburg Man Killed in JoCo Motorcycle Accident

A Warrensburg man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2013 Harley-Davidson, driven by 74-year-old Donald R. Rowe, was on Highway 13, 485 feet north of Henry County NW 1400 Road at 1:30 p.m., when the motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver and striking a fence.

Rowe was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:43 p.m. by Johnson County Coroner Clark Holdren. The body was taken to the Johnson County Coroner's Office.

Johnson County deputies assisted the five troopers on scene.
