Earlier in the week I shared with you Knob Noster Schools Super Bowl Spirit Week plans. They're not the only ones cheering on the Chiefs with a week long celebration. Warrensburg Middle School is putting their own twist on Super Bowl Spirit week.

Warrensburg Middle School's Spirit Week channels the tourist in Tampa. The royalty of being in the Chiefs Kingdom. Seeing double for the Super Bowl repeat. And even acknowledging the zebras who keep things kind of fair.

I'll admit I'm a little surprised, and my tween self a little retroactively jealous, of how much love the Chiefs are getting in the run up to the Super Bowl. I would have loved to participate in a Super Bowl Spirit Week as a kid. Sadly, even though the Bears won it while I was a junior high kid in Chicago we never did anything like this.

So you better believe it. I'll be wearing my Chiefs hat on Monday, my Hawaiian shirt on Thursday and Red on Friday. I won't, however, be going back to middle school. That's best left in the 1980's.

Here's how Warrensburg Middle School is celebrating Super Bowl Spirit Week:

Monday February 1 Chiefs Kingdom Reigns - Wear a hat, crown, or Mahomes headband.

Tuesday February 2 Super Bowl Repeat -  Twin Day, repeat the style of a friend.

Wednesday February 3 Run it Back Referee Day - Dress like a referee, wear black and white.

Thursday February 4 Taking it to Tampa - Dress like a tourist.

Friday February 5 Red Friday - Bust out your red or Chiefs gear.
