If you're a "Live P.D." viewer you see it every weekend. Someone who would have walked away from an interaction with the police who winds up taking a trip to the county jail because they have a warrant. And some of the time this comes from something like a missed court date. Well if you have business with the Warrensburg Municipal Court that you haven't taken care of which has resulted in a warrant, you can get that resolved without an arrest this month.

According to the Warrensburg Police Department's Facebook post, here's how you can get your warrant recalled and a new date with the court to take care of your business:

  • Bring a photo ID to the COURT CLERK's office during business hours, Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm
  • The court will recall your warrant
  • The court will schedule you a new court date on one of the following dates; 3/17/20, 3/31/20, 4/7/20, or 4/21/20.

Warrensburg Police says this a genuine offer which the court offers every year around this time. It's not a sting, or a "gotcha". That said, if you have warrants out for your arrest in other jurisdictions, you may find yourself arrested for those warrants.

If you have any questions, please call the clerk's office at 660-747-9132.
