A Warrensburg woman was injured in two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday night in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2016 Hyundai, driven by 29-year-old Michelle R. Lisher of Warrensburg, was on Highway 50, just east of NW 1421st Road, just before 10 p.m.

The Hyundai attempted to overtake a westbound 1997 International, driven by 61-year-old Michael R. Warlen of Holden. The Hyundai struck the International in the rear, and the Hyundai traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Lisher suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Research Hospital by EMS for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The International had moderate damage, while the Hyundai was totaled.
