Warrensburg Woman Injured in Johnson County Accident

A Warrensburg woman was injured Sunday in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2015 Lincoln, driven by 54-year-old Andrea L. Pease of Warrensburg, was at 402 SE 301 Road at 3:44 p.m., when she crossed the center of the road and struck a southbound 2006 Chevy Silverado, driven by 45-year-old Jason F. McCarty of Leeton.

After impact, the Silverado traveled off the road, struck two trees and some lawn ornaments before coming to rest.

Pease suffered minor injuries, and sought her own treatment.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles were totaled.
