A Warsaw woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2022 Jeep Compass, driven by 83-year-old Wilma J. Tanksley of Warsaw, was coming off Hensley Road onto Cold Springs Avenue around 2 p.m., and traveled into the path of a southbound 1994 Jeep Cherokee, driven by 23-year-old James I. Lehman of Halfway, and the two vehicles struck.

Tanksley suffered moderate injuries and was transported Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance.

Both Jeeps had extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
