Elton John and Taron Egerton have released a video for “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again.”

The single, written by John and longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin for the musical biopic Rocketman, deals with John’s feelings after revisiting the highs and lows of his career in the movie’s plot. It plays over the end credits.

Released on May 31, Rocketman has been described as “a true fantasy.” The movie passed the $100 million mark in worldwide ticket sales last weekend, and was the third-highest grossing release during its first week. Box Office Mojo predicted Rocketman would retain fifth position during the coming weekend, and that it would top $111 million worldwide against a production budget of $40 million.

Director Dexter Fletcher recently revealed that he considered the possibility of having Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek appear as Freddie Mercury in a cameo role – and since Fletcher worked on both movies, it’s likely he could have made it happen.

“There was an idea I had at one point, where Elton’s in a restaurant with his mother,” Fletcher said. “I thought John Reid and Freddie could be at another table and they wave at each other. That would have been amazing; it didn’t come to pass. It would’ve been a little too knowing. … I’m not looking to set out to make a cinematic universe.”

John is partway through his final tour; the Farewell Yellow Brick Road dates are expected to last until 2021. A run of North American shows takes place from Sept. 4 to Nov. 16.
