The Killers teamed up with rock icon Elton John Sunday night at the 27th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party. Below, watch the two perform a rousing rendition of John's classic 1973 ballad "Daniel."

The charity-minded performance occurred as rock swept the Oscars: Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody took home four statues, with the Wayne's World cast reuniting onstage to present one of them at the 91st Academy Awards.

But in West Hollywood, the Killers lead singer Brandon Flowers was seemingly bemused to be onstage with the legendary Rocket Man.

“I got no business playing any music with Elton John," Flowers declares at the top of the clip. "I got no business — I’m the son of a produce man.”

Last month, the Killers released anti-Trump song "Land of the Free."
