There's a certain appeal to working in your underwear all day, and writing a bunch of nonsense about "The Walking Dead".  Or the Seattle Mariners.  Or whatever people blog about.  And apparently, we're all DROOLING for that life.

A new survey asked people to name the best and worst jobs , and the winner is......BLOGGER.

The rest of the top five are all over the place:  Doctor . . . CEO . . . teacher . . . and data scientist.

People say the main factors that make something a great job are lots of money . . . a good work environment . . . and good growth potential.

The five worst jobs are:  Telemarketer . . . doctor . . . teacher . . . garbage collector . . . and assembly line worker.  So yeah, doctor and teacher made both lists.

The main factors that make something a bad job are tough deadlines . . . low pay . . . and bad growth potential.

So I guess you guys only want one part of my job.  Admittedly, the writing part is harder than the talking part.  It's not as easy as you might think.  Sometimes you just.... run out of ideas.  Sometimes you think something is going to be really good and people will like it, and then...  splat.  Nothing. Sometimes you'll spend ten minutes on a post, and that will go crazy.

Well, guys, I just think you're wrong here.  Being a blogger is not that great.  I mean, it's not bad, don't get me wrong.  It's just harder than it looks.  It really is.  Anybody can be a blogger - but to be  GOOD blogger, one that people actually want to read, is hard. Sometimes I hit the mark, sometimes I don't. But I always try.  Hopefully you enjoy it.

Bloggingly yours,
Behka
