Well, it's Easter coming up this weekend! A lot of us are making a last minute run to the store to pick up a few more candies to replace the ones you bought for your kids and ate yourself (no judgement). But what is Sedalia's favorite Easter candy? I asked you that same question on our Facebook page the other day and the results were.... well, I'd say suprising, but they aren't, really. You guys are always bringing the fuego in the comments with the jokes. So anyway, let's start with the serious answers.

All the classics were represented fairly.

Keith B
Jelly Bellies and the big chocolate bunny

Valerie B
Cadbury cream egg!

Kathi S
Jelly beans!!! Like eating popcorn; once you start; you can’t stop, 😂!!

Beth BC
Chocolate eggs - the kind with the crunchy coated shell

Debra NR
Jelly Beans

Leanna SW
Chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies

Dan B
Everything except Peeps!

Calico Road
Cadbury MINI Eggs

Then... came a couple that confused me.

William C
candy clark

Full disclosure, that's my Dad. And I wouldn't put it past him to give me a non serious answer. I had never heard of this though, so I Googled it. And the first results were for an actress named Candy Clark. She was in movies like American Graffiti, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and The Big Sleep. But then I scrolled down a little further, and I found the candy! Apparently you can pay hundreds of dollars for original versions, but they still make Clark Bars, just not exactly like the one Dad mentioned.

Joe K
👃 sniff sniff!!! Sorry I couldn't help it, ya left the door wide open with that one.😄😂😂

I guess he's saying he loves nose candy? I don't know if I believe that. Anybody who is in my comments section knows Joe loves the wacky tobaccy, not necessarily the white rock.

And then... well. The answers got a little more original.

Dale M
Rib Eye Steak…. Bloody Red!

I'm not sure I've ever had steak as a dessert. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO START.

Bill M
John.

You guys. I WISH I had permission to share the unbelievably amazing photo Bill put in his comment. It's a photo of John Candy (you know, one of the best comic actors of the 70s and 80s) in a Easter Bunny suit, surrounded by stuffed rabbits.

Either way, ya'll brought it in the comments, as per usual. I think overall, though, we're tied between the crème eggs and the jelly beans. I guess I'll just have to buy both and make the final call. I mean, I'm willing to make that kind of sacrifice in the name of journalism for you guys. Just saying.

Candily yours,
Behka
