What Did You Do For Mother’s Day?
Admittedly, I'm a step-mom, so Mother's Day (at least to me, anyway) wasn't really too big a thing. My mom has been gone for several years, my grandmothers are both gone, and Husbando's mom lives several hours away, so it was pretty much a day to myself.
On Mother's Day this Sunday, give your mom the one thing she really wants: Not having you around. It turns out, I'm not the only one who wanted it that way.
A new survey found 71% of moms say the thing they want the most on Mother's Day is some ALONE time. I mean, 91% say they would want their family to cook them a meal or snack . . . but afterwards, get the hell out, I guess?
Here are the top five ways moms would want to spend their alone time on Sunday .
1. Spa.
2. Watching a movie or TV show.
3. Reading.
4. Having a relaxing breakfast in bed.
5. Going on a picnic. (Alone? So sad.)
So there you have it, hopefully you and your mom had a great day - with or without you there.
Celebratorily yours,
Behka
