My wife and I just finished watching the Netflix series "Sweet Magnolias." About a month or two ago it was "Ozark", season three. How can they leave us hanging like that?

Of course we went through the first episodes of "Sweet Magnolias" getting used to the characters. The only one that I recognized was the recently separated mom, Maddie Townsend, played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher. I knew I recognized her from another series and then it dawned on me that she was the daughter of Reba on "Reba."

So, of course, as you get into any series you grow with the characters. You see their pluses and minuses. So as we went through the first few episodes we were getting pulled in deeper into their web. (You know they've got you hooked when feel the need to binge watch)

So as I said earlier, we finished the first season with the last episode leaving you with so many questions with what was going to happen next.

I now go back to the afromentioned series, "Ozark." Same situation...different series. Pulling you in and massaging your brain as you don't pay attention to the outside world. It's just you and the characters...Marty, Wendy, Ruth, Darlene.

If you've seen the series, I don't even need to name the character's full names. Just a mention of "Ozark" and Marty takes you to a vision of Jason Bateman, the money laundering entrepreneur.

So watching the last season episode of "Ozark" left us with the same feeling after watching "Sweet Magnolias". How could they do this to us!!!

Time to search out another series that will most likely...sigh, leave us hanging again!

How long it takes to binge 'The Office,' 'Game of Thrones,' and 50 other famous TV shows
