If you, your tween, or teens need to get vaccinated against COVID-19 Western Missouri Medical Center has set a mass vaccination event Friday June 4 at First Baptist Church in Warrensburg.

The vaccine being administered will be the Pfizer vaccine and this clinic will be open to all over the age of 12. To schedule an appointment call Western Missouri Medical Center at 660-262-7580 and select option 1. In addition to people with appointments, WMMC will also be accepting walk ins at this clinic. According to a Facebook post Western Missouri Medical Center says this will be the last mass vaccination event the medical center will be holding.

There will be 500 available spots in this clinic and appointments are available between 11:00AM - 5:00PM CDT. The second dose will be administered on  Friday June 25 from 11:00AM - 5:00PM CDT.

Johnson County Community Health Services is also offering walk in COVID-19 clinics every Wednesday while supplies last between the hours of 1:00PM - 4:30PM CDT. Their office is located at 723 PCA Road in Warrensburg. Patients should allow 30 minutes to receive their vaccination. Wear clothing that allows easy access to to the upper arm. And pregnant women must have a physicians order to receive the vaccine. These clinics are also administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Senior citizens in Johnson, Pettis Saline and Carroll counties who need help with vaccine registration, transportation, and more can contact Care Connection for aging services at 1-800-748-7826.

According to the Johnson County COVID-19 tracker there are 11 cases of COVID-19 in Johnson County as of May 25, 2021. And 4,786 people have recovered for the coronavirus.
