A Houstonia man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday night in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2015 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by 66-year-old Brian B. Albert of Corsicana Texas, was on I-70 at the 81-mile marker just after 10 p.m., when the Freightliner struck a westbound 2019 Toyota Prius, driven by 35-year-old Volodymyr Vedenov of Houstonia.

The Prius then traveled off the north side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on the driver's side.

The Freightliner was driven to a controlled stop.

Vedenov suffered minor injuries and was transported by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.

The Freightliner had minor damage, while the Prius was totaled.

Saline County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
