A Stover man was injured Sunday afternoon when two boats collided at Lake of the Ozarks.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2022 Lowe bass boat, driven by 58-year-old Roger G. Crowder of Jefferson City, was at the 63-mile marker of the lake around 2:15 p.m., when the Lowe boat ran over the top of a southbound 1994 Ranger bass boat, driven by 43-year-old Megan N. Viles of Stover, while the Ranger boat was trolling.

Her passenger and husband, 48-year-old David A. Viles of Stover, suffered serious injuries, and was flown to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight for treatment.

The Ranger boat had extensive damage, while the Lowe boat had no damage.
