Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Friday evening in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2003 Chevrolet, driven by 23-year-old Aylissianna N. Bowen of Clinton, was on Missouri 7, one-third mile north of County Road NW 1401 (just west of Urich) around 6 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway onto an embankment and overturned.

Bowen suffered serious injuries and was flown to Truman Medical Center for treatment. It was unknown if she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Her passenger, a 3-year-old female from Kansas City, suffered moderate injuries and was flown to Children's Mercy Hospital. She was not restrained at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Chevy was totaled.

Henry County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
