Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by 38-year-old Alex R. Elliott of Warrensburg, was on Missouri 58, north of SW 350 Road around 10:30 p.m., when the left front tire blew out and the driver jerked the wheel to the right, over correcting. The Dodge then slid off the left side of the roadway and impacted an embankment, overturning, and the passenger, 27-year-old Mykaelah K. Williams of Holden, was ejected through the passenger side window.
