Two Sedalia residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2015 Chevy Cruze, driven by 46-year-old Michael E. Barnett of Sweet Springs, was on Route 127, one-half mile south of Route NN just after noon Wednesday, when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, rotated counterclockwise, then traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Two passengers in the Chevy, including a 13-year-old female and 36-year-old Amber F. Gregg, both of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries and were transported by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The Chevy was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.

Sweet Springs Police assisted the Patrol.
