What Food/Treat Will You Eat at the Missouri State Fair?

Go ahead, check that calendar! That's right...less than three weeks from today's writing of this blog, the 2018 Missouri State Fair will begin. Let the cravings begin!

The one thing we all look forward to come this time of the year is state fair food. You may not be big into the concerts, maybe the livestock shows aren't your cup of tea but fair food almost always lands at the top of the list of favorite things about the Missouri State Fair.

You've gotten to that point in your life that just strolling down the midway with a corndog in one hand and a fresh-squeezed lemonade in the other satisfies the soul. That's okay.

If it's on a stick, fair-goers will usually try it and most likely, go back for seconds.  Caramel Apples, Belgian Waffles, Frozen Coffee On a Stick...if it's on the stick, we're there!

Then there's the traditional cotton candy and funnel cakes...you can't forget them.

Of course a few are a little far-fetched...Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Deep-Fried Norwegian Banana Split. Deep-Fried Butter and Open-Faced Grilled Spam Sandwich.
